Sparrows and chocobos make landfall in Australia’s Wii/DS
Piracy appears to be on the rise again in Australia as word is out that the Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End action/adventure game for the Wii and DS was launched. This launch coincides with the similarly-titled movie’s opening in Aussie theaters. Approximately 2.8 million copies of the game were shipped a few days ago.
Following closely at the heels of Disney‘s elusive (Jack) Sparrow is Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales for the DS, previously released in North America last April. Other DS titles that have made landfall are Lost In Blue 2, MinDStorm, Kameleon, New Touch Party Game (aka Touch Game Party), and Turn It Around!.
