Splinter Cell: Double Agent featurette with Michael Ironside spills the beans
Some might say that Michael Ironside looks like the dad from “That ’70s Show”. But for gamers who have played through the Splinter Cell franchise, they would know him as that guy who not only provides the voice of Sam Fisher, but actually looks like him too – an “oldified” version, actually. If you try IMDb-ing (yeah, it’s a real word now, apparently) his name, you might be surprised with his roster of voice overs and acting roles. No, “That ’70s Show” isn’t part of it. But you might also remember his voice as Darkseid from “Justice League”.
Introductions aside (c’mon does he actually need an intro by now?), Michael Ironside is slowly becoming a household name. In this video, he gives us a personal take on the role he assumes for Splinter Cell: Double Agent. He talks about how Sam Fisher has developed and how different the character is during this last game.
To say the least, Sam Fisher has some issues and, as Michael Ironside says, “some catharsis going on” in the character. Ironside spills some more details about the whole “double agent” aspect of the game, but as to what specifically, we won’t spoil the video for you. Better click the DL link below to find out!
