New equipment:
- Instacover
- Smoke
- Jammer
New vehicles:
- Chopper
- Pelican
- Shadow
New weapons:
- Flamethrower
- Claymore Grenade
New game mode:
- Infection – “Destroy the Flood or become infected. Score points for killing flood or big points for infecting a human. The player with the most points wins.”
New ranking info:
- Killpocalypse (instead of Double Kill)
- Killionaire (instead of Triple Kill)
Now, some of the content have come under attack by certain speculation. Multiplayer gamers of Halo: Combat Evolved already have tapped into the Flamethrower eons ago, and the modders on the Halo Mods Forums have apparently used the old screenshot of the Flamethrower in the forums. Because of the questionable image, many people are calling shenanigans on their findings – and that’s not including the secret that can already have you flying inside the Pelican for a few more minutes in Halo: Combat Evolved.
Honestly, these new developments has our fingers itchin’ for a chance to take out some Spartan-armored goons as a Flood mite. The Infection game mode in Halo 3 might be something reminiscent of Aliens vs. Predator or Tremulous, but being able to infect gun-toting players is an absolute tear-welling moment. Must. Have. Halo 3.
