Spongebob mod for Gunnar Hero

Any fans of Spongebob here? Yeah, that yellow, squarepants-wearing sponge that borders on being annoying at times? Regardless of anyone’s view on that Nickelodeon character, though, we’re pretty sure that you will begin liking her him after we told you that rubixcube6 has just incorporated Spongebob into the amazing homebrew game Gunnar Hero.

In case you are not familiar with Gunnar Hero, it was developed by homebrew developer HardHat, and the game itself was inspired by the video game Guitar Hero. The original game is currently in v0.13 and one known mod for it is the Light Punk mod, which features Batman and Ozzy Osbourne.

Anyway, as we’ve mentioned, Gunnar Hero Spongebob mod v0.1 is a mod that involves, well, Spongebob Squarepants. It was developed by coder rubixcube6 and according to this dev, Spongebob here plays the guitar. On the other hand, Squidward and Patrick play the piano and drums respectively. Aside from these characters, the over all texture of Gunnar Hero has also been changed.
