Sprint Treo 700p Launch Date Confirmed by Sprint?

Sprint Treo 700pIt looks official. In a Treocentral forum, an alleged “Sprint Retails Sales Playbook” emerged out of nowhere. After going through the really boring stuff, there was a page that shows the actual release date of the highly anticipated Sprint Treo 700p. Under the May 28, 2006 agenda, there was something about the release of the alleged contraption. If this could be something we could rely on, well, interested parties should start saving up because they don’t have much time left.

Previous rumors were saying that the alleged thingamajig will run Palm OS Garnet v5.4.9. It features EVDO high speed data support, a 320×320 pixel display, 1.3 megapixel camera with a 1280×1024 max image resolution and 62.8 MB of free RAM.

And it doesn’t end there, for it seems that a handful of launches will occur on the 28th of May. Under the same date, the launching of the Blackberry 7130i and LG’s LX550 would also take place. So if this is true (we will know by May 28), then PDA lovers and aficionados will definitely be having a helluva grand time come this day.
