Square Enix Party 07 shows impressive numbers

Square Enix Party - Image 1The numbers are in from the Square Enix Party 2007’s aftermath: A grand total of 76,562 people attended the event  held in the Makuhari Messe Convention center in Chiba, Japan.

This is a significant rise from the 46,981 guests who attended the last Square Enix Party which happened in 2005. One of the factors that organizers credit the rise to is the fact that the event was totally free unlike the previous one where fans were charged 1,000 yen per head for admission.

For the first day, 39,750 fans flocked to watch the spectacle. On the second day, an equally enthusiastic crowd of 36,812 was at hand to enjoy the sights and sounds of their favorite Square Enix games.

Announcements, games and trailer showings were among the events that fans wanted to see. The buzz is that some people had to wait around two full hours to get in the site. At the end of the day, all went smooth, the people had a great time and everyone had their fill of Square Enix goodies.
