Square Enix to have a 3D remake of Final Fantasy IV for the DS?

Final Fantasy VI - Image 1Rumor has it that Square Enix has yet another Final Fantasy title, this time, to be brought to the Nintendo DS. Supposedly, Squeenix will be giving a 3D makeover to Final Fantasy IV.

But as may be expected from every other rumor we have floating about, Square Enix has yet to comment on this issue, and you may very well expect not to hear anything else about it, at least until the Square Enix Party.

Meanwhile, an international version of Final Fantasy XII is set to be announced in Japan come August 9 (please take note that the accuracy of that statement heavily depends on how Babelfish decided to translate our source). Named Final Fantasy XII International Zodiac Job System (again, please refer to caveat above), this video game will allow each character to “have his own grid of license”, as well as the choice from among 12 jobs available.

Anyway, we’ll be sure to get back to you on this as soon as we get some more official (and decently accurate translation) news.
