Info comes by way of an ESRB Rating, where the rating board has given its take on the title. This new game, Thexder NEO, has been rated E for Everyone and is heading for the PS3 and PSP thanks to Square Enix. This would possibly be a PSN release.

Rating Summary:

This is a side-scrolling action game in which players control a transforming robot through a series of maze-like levels. Players must destroy enemy robots along the way by shooting them with laser beams. Most enemies react to damage by disappearing in a colorful burst; boss battles depict more protracted combat with louder and more realistic explosions.

Sierra Entertainment, on the other hand, will be releasing Thexder, possibly a remake, for the PC with a Teen rating.
