Square Enix’s Musashi to return in Samurai Eleven?

We all met Musashi in his wholesome adventures in Brave Fencer Musashi. He went on a little hiatus from all the swordplay for a while, then later returned in Samurai Legend Musashi in 2005. Now, it seems like Square Enix is planning to pull the swordsman out of the dugout with a new game.

We all met Musashi in his wholesome adventures in Brave Fencer Musashi. He went on a little hiatus from all the swordplay for a while, then later returned in Samurai Legend Musashi in 2005. Now, it seems like Square Enix is planning to pull the swordsman out of the dugout with a new game.

 

According to a trademark spotted by Siliconera, Square Enix has filed for “Samurai Eleven” for use with video games and could likely be the next Musashi game.

 

Of course, there’s also the possibility of this being an entirely different game. There’s a lot of things that Square Enix could do with a samurai, and a Samurai Eleven game does sound pretty interesting.
