SSBB, Wii Fit continue to dominate Japanese charts
Curious how the game industry is performing over in Japan? We’ve got some answers right here straight from Media Create. As expected, Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS titles are dominating the competition. Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Wii Fit, and a bunch of others are selling big in a week’s span. If you’re wondering which games have been racking up sales in Japan during the past week or so, we can help you with that. Media Create has released its estimates and we’re seeing a familiar look at the sales hierarchy of the far East.
Topping this list is the rambunctious and insanely fun Super Smash Bros. Brawl. It’s followed by exercise software Wii Fit, Nintendo DS hit Tokimeki Memorial: Girl’s Side 2nd Season comes in at third. Two Sony PlayStation 2 titles round up the top five.
