Star Trek Games Get Award Winning Composers and Release Dates
Bethesda Softworks and Rednote Audio announced today that veteran video game and film/TV composers Rod Abernethy and Jason Graves, who worked on such titles as Blazing Angels and The Hobbit, have created the original sci-fi orchestral scores for Bethesda SoftworksÂ’ upcoming titles Star Trek: Legacy on the Xbox 360 and Star Trek: Tactical Assault on the PSP and Nintendo DS. The two composers Rod Abernethy and Jason Graves have produced an hours worth of classic symphonic style music for the upcoming Star Trek video games.
As we mentioned in a previous article Star Trek: Legacy will feature all five actors who portrayed each of the different series captains to voice their characters and hopefully add to the quality of the game. Star Trek: Tactical Assault will be shipping on October 24th, for both the PSP and the Nintendo DS while Star Trek: Legacy is scheduled to be released on November 7th for the Xbox 360. The release of the titles also coincides with the 40th anniversary of the series so if your a Star Trek fan be sure to check out the upcoming games when they are released.
