So far, the count is at 249, 074, all of them petitioning Blizzard to add in LAN support for their much-awaited game. Wings of Liberty, the first part of the sequel, is scheduled for release sometime this year, so the petitioners may have only little time left to convince Blizzard to adhere to their wish.
However, thus far, it looks like Blizzard has certainly no plans of budging as they’ve repeatedly justified their decision not to include LAN support, saying that gamers should give Battle.net a try first.
