Still salivating over more information regarding Blizzard‘s upcoming StarCraft II? Well, Blizzard blue poster Karune has hosted another Q&A session for StarCraft II fans.  This time around, Karune answers questions on auto-casting, unit grouping, and the story in StarCraft II as well.

According to Karune, Blizzard’s current plan is to give the auto-cast ability to medics only. Karune also mentioned that StarCraft II‘s story will pick up four years after the events in the Brood War expansion. Karune added that while the current limit of selectable units in a single control group is one hundred fifty, the limit in the final version of the game may change depending on the results of Blizzard’s hardware performance tests.

Karune also mentioned an interesting tidbit regarding the Terran Nomad. According to the quick interview, the Nomad can create stationary defenses (read: auto-turrets) on top of its Defensive Matrix ability.

Not surprisingly, Karune’s Q&A session was met with positive responses from most StarCraft II forum members, except for one who regarded the information on the Q&A as old news.
