It seems Blizzard‘s StarCraft II for the PC is still early in development, and changes are getting thrown around. The latest batch of Q&A posted on Battle.net forums explores more on what tweaks and balancing are being done to the sequel of what most hail as the best real-time strategy game ever.

So far, the Terran Ghost is being worked on. StarCraft II developers are considering to categorize the Ghost under Tier 1.5 without having stealth – an ability which could be an upgrade from later tiers. Another interesting detail is how there could be vespane gas deposits that generate more gas. Hopefully, we won’t be hearing “Insufficient vespane gas!” too much this time around.

The Protoss ability to warp-in units, introduced in this upcoming sequel, definitely has potential to define how battles will unfold. Powerhouse Protoss Colossus and menacing Dark Templars can easily give the Protoss an overwhelming advantage if they’re too mobile because of warping. Fortunately, StarCraft II devs are equipped with thinking caps to iron out any game-breakers.
