Wiibrew developer crediar has released a new version of Starfall, the Wii System Menu hack that unlocks many of its services to become region free. Now on version 0.5, the program has a couple of new features, including skip disc update check. More details in the full article.

Starfall, the Wii System Menu hack from Wiibrew dev crediar, has been updated to version 0.5. In case you missed the previous release, Starfall is a hack that unlocks many of the Wii’s services – including games and channels – to become region free.
Remember that the program only works with System Menu 3.2E(v290) or 3.2U(v289). Here’s what’s new in this version (be sure to read the rest of the documentation included in the download archive):
- Replace healthwarning with backmenu
- Skip disc update check
Crediar also notes that future versions may include the following features:
- Wii region free with video patch
- Copy ‘nocopy’ savefiles
