StateShift to be released in Europe soon
We hope you haven’t forgotten about StateShift yet. This sci-fi racing title was actually first announced sometime around August of last year. But because of lack of details and information, it slowly slipped the players’ consciousness.
Netherlands-based developer Engine Software re-emerged today and announced that the game is now nearing completion. The company even added that they just inked a deal with Midas Interactive Ltd. regarding Stateshift‘s release in European territories. Deals with other markets like Asia and U.S. are still being finalized.
Anyway, a little backgrounder here. Stateshift supposedly takes place in the future, when our Earth’s resources are nearly depleted and our economy is highly unstable. The era is marred by bloody conflicts. Stateshift, now, focuses on the illegal racing competitions that are happening during that time.
The game boasts of various single player modes that will also include a Career mode. To add more intensity to the competition, an Ad-Hoc multiplayer mode has also been added. Lastly, Engine Software promised to release more details about gameplay, some media, and pricing next week so watch out for those.
