Steelers’ Coach Cowher coverboys EA’s NFL Head Coach title

World Champion Pittsburgh Steelers Coach Bill Cowher graces the cover of NFL Head Coach, a pioneering 3D sports strategy game designed to give the players the emotional experience of coaching. This is according to Electronic Arts which is also behind videogame hits Madden NFL Football and NFL STREET.

Cowher landed the “honor” (that remains to be seen) by steering the unheralded Steelers to its only Super Bowl title in the last decade and a half. Also the longest-tenured coach, Cowher managed to consistently make Pittsburg an NFL team to be feared by the opposition.

Promoting the game set to be released in June 20, Cowher said that coaching is all about leadership, and that NFL Head Coach is “a game that gives true football fans the chance to strategize and become the head coach of their favorite team,” He also challenged gamers to build and manage every aspect of a football team from the ground up. The game allows the player to develop a team strategy, execute it on and off the field, and try to build a winning organization. It gives the players a sense of superiority, which can either make or break a team. If Cowher had made it all in his own, maybe the player can do too.
