Stig Asmussen lays out possible God of War III DLC

We’ve heard talk about God of War III DLC before. It’s still a possibility, but don’t expect anything huge, though. According to Stig Asmussen, the most they can probably add are challenges and skins. Oh, and and probably an epilogue of some sort as well.

Asmussen explained to Destructoid recently that the way God of War III was designed doesn’t leave a lot of room for downloadable content.

“There’s skins and there’s challenges, we could do those things,” he said. “The problem with this game is that it’s so tight, it’s zipped up so tight, and it’s designed to work one way. We couldn’t just put in new AI characters or something like that without breaking the whole thing.”

As for the epilogue, let’s just say that it might give an answer to the many possibilities you guys have laid out in this comment thread. As Asmussen describes it, it’s “just something fun to do.”

The source link below also leads to a lot of info about what got cut from the final game (they sound quite awesome, believe me), so check it out. Those who haven’t played or finished God of War III yet should note that spoilers abound there.
