Not so fast. Konami may have withdrawn their publisher’s support for Six Days in Fallujah on the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC, but that doesn’t mean the game’s completely canned just yet.

Atomic Games is still committed to finish developing their game: it’s all just a matter of finding a new publisher. Peter Tamte, president of the game studio, explained:

[Atomic Games] were informed on Thursday night that Konami had decided to pull out of Six Days in Fallujah. This caught us by surprise. Development of the game had been progressing very well and on schedule. We would very much like the opportunity to complete the game.

It’d be interesting to see who they’d approach to have their game published. Will Take-Two Interactive pick it up?
