Still ready to fight: Battlestations new screens

Although Eidos pushed back the launch of Battlestations: Midway‘s release to the early quarter of 2007 for the Xbox 360 and the PC, it sure looks as if it’s gonna be worth the wait with this new army of screenshots.

This video game adaptation of the epic World War II naval combat in the Pacific spans across Pearl Harbor, the Philippines, Java and the Coral Sea. Wouldn’t you want to be a part of history (simulate as it may be), and with over 60 different warships, planes and submarines, all from a 3rd-person perspective, and all at your disposal.

Watch out for the 11 large-scale campaigns in the Single Player mode, which also features 12 bonus challenge missions. Meanwhile, the online multi-player combat has in store for your head-to-head and co-operative fleet battles with over 60 Allied and Japanese units.

But while waiting for it to get here, enjoy these barrage of screens, in the meantime.
