Stores breaking Star Wars Battlefront PSP pack street date?

Circuit City is allegedly selling the Star Wars Battlefront PSP pack before its street date. On the slickdeals.net forum, poster 4orced4door claims to have purchased the product already. He has also posted pictures of both the item and the receipt showing that it came from the said video game shop.

Some posters have reportedly found that other stores, such as Target and TRU, were doing the same thing. There has been no official statement from LucasArts or Rebellion Developments regarding this, but we’ll keep you posted on any updates regarding it.

If you were to pick up one of the Limited Edition Star Wars Battlefront Entertainment Packs, you will be getting a Ceramic White PSP with a Darth Vader Silkscreen design on the back, a copy of Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron, an AC adaptor, and a battery pack. The release date of the game is still listed at October 9, so you might want to wait till then before heading over to the store to get one just to be sure.
