Stormfront Studios concocting a storm for the Wii

Stormfront StudiosAs reported by Codename Revolution, it has just been revealed that Stormfront Studios is developing a game for the Wii. This quasi-confirmation finds its roots in a Gamasutra post about a job opening asking for a “Senior Wii Engineer” tasked to “drive the overall implementation of the core game systems on the Wii platform for our proprietary cross platform engine.” The post, however, is locked for members only.

Now, let’s backtrack a bit and focus on Stormfront. For those who aren’t familiar with the third-party developer, they’re the ones responsible for over 40 titles, including Forgotten Realms: Demon Stone, Neverwinter Nights (AOL), and LOTR: The Two Towers.

The team is also composed of various members from Electronic Arts and George Lucas‘ ILM studios, among others.

It’s also interesting to note that, in yet another job post in Gamasutra, it’s been speculated that this upcoming Wii title will be of the action-adventure genre. Care to take any shots at it? May the guessing commence!
