Everyone else got their Super Street Fighter II HD Remix last November, it’s already making record-breaking sales, but it still doesn’t have a confirmed release date for Europe. What’s the hold-up, Capcom? John Diamonon, in his statement yesterday that SF2HD is making record-breaking sales, said he still cannot confirm when it will be released on the PS3 for Europe.
“There are reasons why we can’t always release games when we want to, but we are working hard on getting the game out as soon as possible,” said a Capcom spokesperson. It seems that Capcom is eyeing a Q1 release for the hot-selling title, which seems a bit odd since Street Fighter IV will draw all the Street Fighter mania away when comes out February 20 in Europe.
Capcom that Super Street Fighter II HD Remix is “on its way to becoming the highest grossing digital title ever.” Maybe if they released it in Europe, their numbers would be bigger. Right now, SF2HD has sold over 250,000 units to date and is looking forward to getting those numbers up.
