Can’t find an affordable Street Fighter IV Fight Pad anywhere? Well, if you aren’t averse to owning a second copy of Street Fighter IV then you might want to check out the new PC version bundle that Capcom‘s launching in July.
The PC version of the Capcom brawler will be bundled with the Street Fighter IV Fight Pad for US$ 59.99. If we take away the cost of the standalone game, you’re getting 50% off of the controller, which normally retails for US$ 40 — assuming you can find one in a store, that is.
The Mad Catz controller is also compatible with the Xbox 360 version of the game, so if you’re really dead set in owning one then this is the way to go. Unless you want to pay upwards of US$ 50 on eBay, of course. Or if you happen to hate Ryu with a passion, since the Ryu Fight Pad is the only one available in the bundle.
The Fight pad bundle will be available July 7th. You can buy the bundles through Capcom’s eStore and Amazon.com, although apparently some of Capcom’s subdistributors have ordered quite a bit of these so you might also see them at places like Fry’s. PAL gamers will have to order theirs online since Capcom’s Chris Svensson says retail placed no orders in your territory.
