Strike Force: Red Cell for Xbox 360
What originally started out as a mod for the old, original Unreal Tournament has now become a full-fledged next-generation console title. Signature Devices (a relatively young Graffiti Entertainment subsidiary) today announced a deal with Vision Studios, developers of Strike Force: Red Cell. The game will be released on Xbox 360 and PC.
While Vision has no professional work under their belt yet, their mods, held in high regard by the UT community, have given them enough experience to turn into a “real” developer, an evolution we have seen a couple times already over the years with various mod developers.
Vision Studios will create a semi-realistic, tactical shooter along the lines of Ghost Recon and (the more recent) Rainbow Six. Players lead a team of UN elite soldiers into an anti-terror combat scenario.
