Suda 51 wants to create No More Heroes sequel
With the lukewarm reception Grasshopper Manufacture‘s No More Heroes received in Japan, you’d think that Suda 51would be discouraged to come up with a sequel. However, the game developer still wants to give it a go. More details in the full article!
Even if No More Heroes wasn’t received quite warmly in Japan, game creator Goichi Suda (or Suda 51) expressed his intention to create a sequel for the highly-stylized action game.
“I’m really willing to make a sequel version–and right now I’m asking if it can be made,” he said. Suda 51 also added that he wouldn’t want to create games that other developers usually come up with.
Suda 51 was also asked about the difference between between the American version of No More Heroes compared to the Japanese and European release. “The American market has more of a predilection to a more violent version,” he explained, adding that the Europeans and Japanese generally prefer their games more action-oriented. However, he was quick to point out that “neither version is better.”
