Developer EvilDooinz (also the creator of the PSP WOL or Wake-on-LAN homebrew) has announced that SudokuZen Release 2 is now available for download. As its name implies, this homebrew is actually a PSP version of the highly popular Sudoku number puzzle, originally created by Howard Garns back in 1979.
Here are the SudokuZen’s rules (quoting the readme):
- Fill the grid so that the numbers 1 through 9 appear in each row.
- Fill the grid so that the numbers 1 through 9 appear in each column.
- Fill the grid so that the numbers 1 through 9 appear in each 3×3 box.
- A complete Sudoku puzzle contains the numbers 1 through 9 in every row, column, and 3×3 box.
SudokuZen Release 2 will carry a couple of minor updates and new themes. Details for controls and other important information regarding the game are available in the file bundle’s readme file. Just be sure to download the file bundle appropriate to your PSP’s firmware.
