SUN Gearing Up for Invasion
The popular Korean MMO Soul of the Ultimate Nation (SUN) is scheduled to be released sometime this year in Europe and in the US.
SUN is created by Webzen and is supposedly different from the rest of the existing MMOs. SUN tries to capitalize on the epic story of the game. Initially the player has to choose which character he’ll be playing: Elementalist, Berserker, Valkyrie or the Dragon Knight. The character you’ve chosen will have to build an alliance with the rebel Indus and go against the emperor of Blandis, Emperor Schwarz.
Those familiar with Guild Wars will feel right at home with the small groups and instances will be de rigueur. Towns will feel very MMO like with everyone running around, then breaking in off into 5 man groups for “instanced” play.
Soul of the Ultimate nation is scheduled for release September 2006.
