Super Mario Galaxy screenshots – Mario’s run
With Mario paving the way for NES domination some decades ago, it’s been a must for every Nintendo console to have games headlining our hero. The trend continues with the Wii getting Super Mario Galaxy. This game takes everyone’s favorite plumber and tosses him into outer space, literally.
The game has Mario leaping from planet to planet, defeating enemies and collecting items on a quest to save Princess Peach from an unknown enemy. Like the 3D Mario games before it, one of the main objectives in the game is to collect the stars. Unlike old-school Mario games though, he now starts with a power bar which allows him to take a few hits before kicking the bucket.
Super Mario Galaxy is slated to be out this November 12 in the US and November 1 in Japan. Before you go, check out the screenshots of the game and see if it appeals to you.
