Super Mario Galaxy shows new flight power up

We’ve already had a handful of Nintendo’s Super Mario Galaxy videos since its Japanese release last November 1st, but we clearly couldn’t get enough of them. In this new video, we see everybody’s favorite plumber take flight into the skies after getting a new, and supposedly secret, power-up that lets Mario take flight into the planet’s atmosphere and beyond.

After getting the flight power-up, Mario talks to what looks like a pink star who gives him the mission to collect 100 of those purple gems. Mario then soars his merry way across the skies. It sounds simplistic, but actually watching the video and seeing Mario do all those stunts in the air is pretty amazing. Do check out the Super Mario Galaxy gameplay video!
