Super Mario Galaxy still being released on November 16 in Europe
For those of us in Europe eagerly anticipating the release of one of the most highly-anticipated titles for the Wii, Super Mario Galaxy, you might have noticed a small error on Nintendo Europe‘s website – one that involves the game’s release date. Recently, it heralded the game’s release date being on Christmas Eve, instead of the previously-announced November 16. What gives?
Predictably, this sparked quite the ruckus on the interwebs. After all, that’s a pretty long delay to wait for, and one that nobody saw coming. Fortunately, it seems that it was only an error of some sort, and as of this writing, the original November 16, 2007 release date for Europe is back in its rightful place. Whew!
So, there you have it, folks. It’s not a delay or anything like that – it was a simple mistake, and Super Mario Galaxy is still in schedule for European shores. Let’s all get back into crossing off the days before we get a copy of Super Mario Galaxy onto our hands, and into our Wii consoles – November can’t come soon enough!
