Super Mario RPG hits Europe’s Virtual Console

Although the original game wasn’t released in the region, Super Mario RPG will soon hit Europe by way of the Wii’s Virtual Console. No more need for that emulator to play the game, huh. No word on when the game will reach the US though. Details in the full article.

Although Super Mario RPG wasn’t initially released in Europe back in 1996, the region will now be officially introduced to the game by way of the Wii’s Virtual Console service. The game should be available by today.

The game – starring Mallow, Geno, and the rest of the gang from the Mario World (even Bowser) – will be available for 900 Wii points.

The game was officially released in Japan‘s Virtual Console in July, making the US the odd one out. No word yet on when the region will get the game.
