Do you guys remember Percival‘s Super Mario War homebrew game? If you enjoyed it, then this will definitely be music to your ears: PlayStation Portable homebrew developer C0_ol has released a mod for the said game, dubbed Super Mario Wars Mod.
Super Mario War was originally created by Michael Schaffer and Florian Hufsky as a tribute to Nintendo’s famous plumber and other works. It’s basically a multiplayer game where the name of the game is to stomp as many impostor-slash-enemy Marios as possible. Percival then ported the Windows game to the PSP. Fast forward to now, and we’ve got C0_ol‘s mod, currently on version 1.2.
Now, checking the brew’s changelog (it’s in Norwegian, the dev’s native tongue), we found that most of the changes were mostly cosmetic. Of course, we’re just glad to see Super Mario War back revived. You know the drill, download’s below and you can reach the dev at link to release thread.
