Super Paper Mario finally rated by Australian OFLC

Super Paper Mario - Image 1Australian gamers have just gotten closer to getting their hands on Nintendo’s hit Wii title, Super Paper Mario. The game has been officially granted by the Office of Film & Literature Classification (OFLC) a G rating.

The OFLC is roughly Australia‘s version of the ESRB, providing classification for and imposing censorship on films, video games and publications in Australia. It might not have the word “censorship” in its name, but it can effectively censor a product by refusing to classify it.

Anyway, with the game now classified, all that remains is for Nintendo to come out with a release date. Super Paper Mario was released in both North America and Japan last month. Like Australia, no release date for Super Paper Mario has been announced for Europe yet. With luck, a release date for both territories should be announced soon.
