Super Paper Mario Moved to Wii

According to Matt Casamassina of IGN, Super Paper Mario has been moved to the Wii. Previously announced as a GCN game, not much was known about it. It was previously reported that it would probably be moving to the Wii, now Matt seems to have confirmed it.

“Hmm. How should I write this? Have to be vague, you know? Let me just say that yes, Paper Mario will be headed to Wii and not GameCube. Now read between the lines, damn you! Wait. That was a terrible hint! All right, that’s it for today. Time to beat Bozon.”

It looks like the Wii has yet another game that’s sure to be a hit. Since it was originally a GCN game meant for release this year, the chances are good that it’ll appear either in the launch window or shortly after. More will likely be revealed at the September 14 event by Nintendo.
