Super Paper Mario tidbits
For those who can’t get enough info on Super Paper Mario, we have good news. Certain things have come to light and we think it’s going to be a very interesting play. Nintendo, it seems, likes to add the old with some of the new. In that light, it’s important to keep an open mind regarding some of the things they’re doing with the game. Still, if Nintendo made it, then it must be good, right?
- The game will start off like the other Paper Mario games. You will start in a town with an inn, shops, and NPCs. Just like the original.
- Stages are numbered 1-1, 1-2 reminiscent of the original Super Mario Brothers.
- Running and throwing turtle shells will be acquired skills.
- Characters from previous iterations of Mario will be in the game as well as various versions of them.
- You will be treated to an FMV at the beginning of the game.
Super Paper Mario will be released on April 9, 2007 in the US. That said, while the original Paper Mario rocked, we are praying, hoping, and expecting this iteration will be better. More when we get more. Ciao.
