Super Smash Bros. Brawl assist trophy update: Devil
Welcome to yet another fun Super Smash Bros. Brawl update from Nintendo, and this time get ready to meet the assist trophy that defies common sense. Meet Devil, that demon spawned from the old NES game Devil World. Haven’t heard about the game? That’s alright; Devil World wasn’t released in the U.S. so some of you might not be familiar with the video game.
Devil happens to be very, very effective as an assist trophy. He’s so effective, he ends up assisting everybody in the ring. Problem is, giving everybody a boost in the game Super Smash Bros. Brawl only means total chaos.
Why? Because the mere point of his finger will make the screen defy logic and physics, making the backdrop (including the ring) roll to the side. And that leaves everybody, including you, quite literally in the air. Devil as an assist trophy really is a double-edged sword, so better plan a good back-up strategy before calling for his help.
