If you’re among the gamers who frequently visit Masahiro Sakurai’s Smash Bros. Dojo!! site for the latest 411 on Super Smash Bros. Brawl, you’ll want to listen to this news. Sakurai just announced that as of today, April 14, Dojo will no longer be receiving any further game-related updates.

Sakurai’s parting letter also revealed some very interesting details regarding Dojo. For one, the site has accumulated roughly 300 blog posts since its 11-month run; it looks like the Dojo crew was dead serious about their “5 days a week” update policy.

The SSBB director also noted was that the highest recorded number of visitors to the site in one week was around 7.15 million users worldwide. Sakurai also thanked the Nintendo of America  staff who translated the site from Japanese to English.

Of equal note was the Nintendo Europe team who further translated Dojo into several other languages. That’s the lowdown on Sakurai’s parting words currently on display at the site. Those who wish to read his letter in its entirety will want to visit Dojo via the source link below.
