Super SMash bros. brawl cover - Image 1We’re seeing a major shake-up in the UK software charts this week as Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Battlefield: Bad Company (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3) make their respective entries to the market. Both have landed first and second in the round-up, knocking out former leaders Lego Indiana Jones and Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots to lower positions.

Conquering the top spot isn’t the only great news for Nintendo as Wii Fit and Mario Kart Wii have seen a re-entry into the top ten big sellers. Rockstar Games’ record-setting Grand Theft Auto 4 is still very much in the game as it hangs on to the tenth and final spot.

In any case, here’s this week’s best selling titles in the UK:

  • Super Smash Bros Brawl
  • Battlefield: Bad Company
  • Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures
  • Wii Fit
  • Big Beach Sports
  • Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots
  • Mario Kart Wii
  • Top Spin 3
  • Beijing 2008
  • Grand Theft Auto 4
