Super Smash Bros. Brawl update: Diddy Kong’s special moves
We’ve already shared with you tips and screenshots on how to perform some of your favorite character’s special moves (like Star Fox‘s Andross and the unnamed Pokemon trainer) in the upcoming video game Super Smash Bros. Brawl. This time, we’d like to do the same for Diddy Kong.
Similar to hardcore games, Diddy Kong will be able to sport a projectile weapon in the form of Peanut Popgun. Well, not as hardcore probably but just as effective nonetheless. The popgun is made out of wood and uses peanuts as bullet.
You can boost the speed of your shots by holding down the button. However, do take note that you should not hold down the button too long because the shot and the gun will definitely explode in your face. If this happens, don’t worry because there’s some sort of a consolation: a peanut will fall to the ground from the broken shell. Eating this will partially restore Diddy Kong’s health.
Donkey Kong‘s pal will also be able to wear a double-barreled jet engine that should prove to be useful during battles. Charging the engine before using it increases jump power. As a reminder, don’t feel all too powerful when using this because when the jet engine gets hit, there’s a big possibility that it will malfunction and deal further damage to your character.
