Super Smash Bros. Brawl update: introducing Munchlax
Another week, another update for Nintendo‘s Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Nintendo Wii. This time we return our focus to our Pokemon assisting friends. After the power of Deoxys’ Hyper Beam Attack, we have something a little more relaxed after all the battle-savvy Pokemon we’ve shown you so far.
Meet Munchlax, the pre-evolved form of the gluttonous Pokemon, Snorlax. Isn’t he just the cutest thing? Just be careful not to let him wander too close to any items you might want to pick up because he obviously isn’t following any sort of diet plan.
While Munchlax may lack in power some of the other assist Pokemon have, his use as a strategic character can help slow down or, at the very least, annoy your other opponents. Any items he comes across becomes a gourmet meal for him and disappear into his bottomless pit of a stomach, so you might want to throw it your opponent’s way if you don’t want him picking up that Franklin Badge or some other item that might give him an advantage.
Anyway, that’s it for today’s update for Nintendo’s free-for-all brawler. Keep yourselves posted on any more updates we might have for the game.
