Bored with the same old matches in Nintendo‘s upcoming fighting game, Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Nintendo Wii? Well, today’s update is sure to pick up everyone’s interest with the Special Brawl mode fighters can engage in to break the everyday monotony of beating each other up the same old way (not that it isn’t fun either way).

Anyway, the Special Brawl gives you several options to “spice up” a battle however way you want to play it. The special rules per match can be as outrageous as everyone wearing bunny ears to increase your characters’ performance, to standard fighting game rules which extend everyone’s stamina bar.

You can choose how many special rules you want to insert into the battle and inadvertently renaming the type of match according to the rules you enable. As you can see below, the Stamina Mega Flower Curry Heavy Slow Angle match sure makes for a crazy, but very entertaining match for brawlers to fight in.

This adds a dynamic aspect to the game when you’re bored with the standard fights or when you’ve pretty much unlocked everything the game already has to offer.
