Super Smash Bros. Brawl update: tether recovery

Another day, another (small) update for the upcoming Super Smash Bros. Brawl video game for the Nintendo Wii. Here we find out that Samus can put that new Plasma Whip that goes with her Zero Suit to good use, enough make even Catwoman proud.

Asides from using her whip to indiscriminately punish her opponents, it can also be used to save herself from a long dive off the stage in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. By grabbing the ledge just before she goes over, she can then retract her whip and throw herself back into the fray.

It has also been reported that other characters have their own ways of recovering themselves in such a spectacular manner. But like most teasers go, this is about as much as everyone will get until the next update.
