Super Smash Bros. Brawl update – widescreen support, Donkey Kong theme

The official Smash Bros. DOJO! website has just been updated yet again regarding the widescreen support and the Donkey Kong theme for upcoming Nintendo Wii game Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

While the game does have support for widescreen display like mist Nintendo Wii titles, take note that your TV setting should be set correctly or you will not fully enjoy the game due to the weird TV output. Check out some reminders via the “read more” link below.

The official Smash Bros. DOJO! website has just been updated yet again, with info on widescreen support and a Donkey Kong theme for the upcoming Nintendo Wii game, Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

While the game does have support for widescreen display like most Nintendo Wii titles, take note that your TV setting should be set correctly or you will not fully enjoy the game due to the weird TV output. These reminders were provided by Smash Bros. DOJO!:

• The border off the screen that cues a KO is the same for both. Choose the display mode that matches the TV you have at home.
• So, all you have to do is check the circle that appears in the background on the screen where you choose your display setting.
• If your television has screen-size settings called Wide and Full, set your TV to Full. If you choose Wide, there is a chance the image may be shifted toward the center of the screen.

The Donkey Kong theme, on the other hand, was created by Hirokazu Tanaka who has been with Nintendo ever since the days of the Game & Watch. The creation of the theme was supervised by Yukio Kaneoka.
