Super Smash Bros. Update: Rotation game mode
We all know that many players will be dying to get brawling when Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros. Brawl hits, so Nintendo and Sora Ltd. managed to think up of a way to make sure the matter of who gets the controller next will be settled peacefully. Details in the full article!
It’s time for another Super Smash Bros. Brawl update from Nintendo, and this time its about a pretty nifty game mode, Rotation. This mode pretty much solves the problem of how to manage tourneys of more than four players, since Super Smash Bros. Brawl already takes care of it for you.
When Rotation is selected, a player needs to enter how many people will be playing, and how many players will battle it out per match. There are also other options to tweak, such as whether they want the winners or losers to opt out per match, and how many will be rotated after the game.
Players can enter their names or just memorize their guest player number to know if it’s their turn or not, totally eliminating the need to fight over the controllers.
Also, if it’s your turn and you need to go to the bathroom or get some snacks from the pantry, there’s a great option that can let you take a break. Choosing to do so will send you back to the queue, giving you some time to do your stuff.
Pretty useful stuff, eh? Looks like Nintendo’s working to make sure everything’s covered in Brawl. More updates to come!
