Super Spy 38 “Spite”

As we promised when we brought you issue #37, we’re bringing you Matt Kindt‘s 38th installment of his weekly masterpiece creations called Super Spy. And this week, Kindt brings us “Spite”, a story about the lead character’s inner struggles with the violence he sees around him, yet having no will to even try and stop them.

Described by some as dark and pensive, Kindt is one of the rare creative souls who dedicate his time to updating the Super Spy series. If this is the first time you’re able to catch Kindt’s works, you might wanna check out his previous works: “Voyeur“, “Hospital“, and “The Map” to get a feel of what the series is like.

As we’ve been mentioning in our previous Super Spy coverage, each issue is a standalone story and can be read in and by itself. Thus, you don’t have to worry about feeling a bit lost once you read one issue. However, all these stories fit together to create a bigger world, which also echoes well into KindtÂ’s critically graphic novel “2 Sisters: A Super Spy Graphic Novel” from Top Shelf.

For Super Spy neophytes, we suggest you download this week’s issue, and if you like it, rest assured we’ll be bringing you next week’s issue as well. Simply click on the download link below and you’re all set to enter the world of Matt Kindt and the Super Spy adventures.
