Supreme Commander factions: players of the Infinite War

When you’re at war, it’s best to know who you’re up against – or what for that matter. In Supreme Commander from Chris Taylor‘s Gas Powered Games, there are three factions. All are basically human, just with different agendas and beliefs.

The United Earth Federation (UEF) just want to unity the old Earth Empire and be the overlords of the universe once again. They have the brawn and they won’t hesitate in using it.

The Aeon Illuminate is a religious faction that are basically pacifists in nature. They almost have an overzealous mission for world peace – by having everyone convert. They like shiny weapons and mostly use energy weapons.

The Cybran Nation on the other hand are made up of Symbionts – humans whose brains have been “upgraded”. They basically fight for their fellow Symbionts who are being used by the UEF as the general workforce. Their mechas are notable, plus they have ships that sprout legs.

Enough babble from us, Supreme Commander hits the shelves on February 20 – just a few shut eyes away. In the meantime, enjoy the video.
