Supreme Commander for Xbox 360 delayed until Summer
Eager fans of Aspyr Media‘s upcoming RTS game, Supreme Commander, might have to wait a little longer before you can grab a copy of the game. The publisher has announced that game is going to be pushed back until late Spring or early Summer. To know more about the delay, head on over to the full article.
Bad news has struck the Xbox 360 port version of Supreme Commander (PC, 360). The publishing company, Aspyr Media, has released an announcement today saying that the game has been pushed back to early summer.
Aspyr Media’s marketing manager, Eric Duncan, hasn’t revealed the exact date as to when the game will be officially released. The only thing certain about it is that the game will be out “on store shelves later this spring or early summer.”
Don’t go crying to a corner just yet. There’s a fairly good reason why this happened. Duncan added reasons as to why they had to take such a move. He explained in length:
The benefit of having independent companies such as Aspyr and its partners working on a project of this magnitude is that decisions like this can be executed quickly.
While the game will be hitting shelves later than originally expected, the additional time put into development will result in better gameplay and more fun for gamers.
The wait might be longer but even if this is the case, we have this inkling that when it gets released, it’s going to live up to expectations. We’ll keep you guys notified on the developments on the game so don’t forget to check back here at QJ.NET regularly.
