Supreme Commander To Be Brought To Consoles?

If you’re a gamer who’s looking for more new RTS games for your console of choice then you’re in luck. Chris Taylor, the guy who brought us Total Annihilation and Dungeon Siege, has expressed an interest in bringing his latest RTS title Supreme Commander to consoles in a recent interview with CVG.

Taylor was asked if he thought Supreme Commander would work well on consoles, to which he responded with a resounding positive. Taylor also said that he and Gas Powered Games were “going to explore that for sure.”

No further hints were offered on a possible console port for Supreme Commander, which is shaping up to be one of the biggest RTS releases of 2007. Taylor’s responses make the possibility a very likely one though, and RTS fans would surely appreciate getting the chance to play the game on their favorite consoles. We know we will.
