Hope for a new Syndicate game remains alive. Superannuation has unearthed copyrights for the Syndicate name filed by EA and Starbreeze.

 

A remake of the 1993 Bullfrog classic has been widely rumored since EA announced a partnership with Starbreeze to “reinvent” one of the publisher’s classic franchises. The remake, codenamed Project RedLime, was supposed to be released on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.

 

It’s still worth noting however that the filing was made almost a year ago, which is a bit of a bummer since word of EA canning one of Starbreeze’s projects came out just last month.
